Hydrant Flushing to Take Place April 22-23

HYDRANT FLUSHING
In keeping with the practice of regular routine water main cleaning, the City of Bronson will be flushing fire hydrants.
The flushing will begin 12:01 a.m. Monday morning April 22nd for the Eastern section (north of US-12) of the City and Tuesday morning April 23rd at 12:01 a.m. for the Western section (south of US-12) of the City.
The City apologizes for any inconveniences the flushing may cause. On occasion, the water in the areas of flushing may temporarily have a reddish/orange rusty appearance as flushing can disturb iron sediment in the water pipes and cause the discoloration. If this occurs, please run your cold water at the tap closest to your water meter for several minutes to clear your lines. The City advises the public to refrain from doing laundry during the two days the flushing will be taking place.
