To: All Interested Citizens, Organizations, and Government Agencies Attached is the Finding of No Significant Impact (FNSI), Environmental Assessment (EA), and notice of 30-day public comment period for the Wastewater Collection System Infiltration and Inflow Removal project being undertaken by the City of Bronson. The Bronson FNSI-EA document is also available on the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) Water Infrastructure Funding and Financing Section (WIFFS) Finding of No Significant Impact/Environmental Assessments webpage also accessible under Additional Links at Michigan.gov/CWSRF.
EGLE will not take any action on this project planning document for 30 calendar days from the date of this notice in order to receive and consider any public comments. In the absence of substantive comments during this period, our preliminary decision will become final. The applicant would then be eligible to receive loan assistance to construct the proposed project.
NOTICE- The City of Bronson Cemetery cleanup day will be on April 15, 2024. All articles that you wish to retain must be removed by that date or they will be destroyed.
Any articles still left in the Cemetery on April 15th will be removed by City personnel only.
In keeping with the practice of regular routine water main cleaning, the City of Bronson will be flushing fire hydrants.
The flushing will begin 12:01 a.m. Monday morning April 22nd for the Eastern section (north of US-12) of the City and Tuesday morning April 23rdat 12:01 a.m. for the Western section (south of US-12) of the City.

The City of Bronson is looking for a Utilities Director/Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator. The Utilities Director is the plant's chief executive officer and is responsible for the facility's administrative, operational, planning, compliance reporting, and financial aspects.

The City of Bronson is conducting a survey to establish priorities for the future development of our parks and recreation facilities, programs and services. We will use the information obtained in this survey to update our City of Bronson Park Five-Year Recreation Master Plan. An important part of the planning process is receiving input from our residents to form our goals and objectives for the next five years.
The City of Bronson, in Branch County, has lifted the boil water advisory issued on January 22, 2022. As required during a boil water advisory, the City performed lab samples for two consecutive days. Both of those tests came back negative for the presence of bacteria.
