Ordinance Violations:

UNDER CONSTRUCTION

The City of Bronson has many ordinances to help control the accumulation of junk, inoperable/unregistered motor vehicles, trash, etc.   Many of these ordinances are unknown to most citizens until they receive notification from the police department regarding the violation of a particular ordinance.

This page is designed to educate citizens on the most prevalent ordinances we see.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:
Republic Services offers a “bulk pickup” service for residents (current Republic customers) to get rid of old large household items including old appliances and furniture. It has come to our attention that there is some confusion as to how the bulk pickup for large household items and appliances functions. This confusion seems to be leading to ordinance violation notifications at resident’s properties unnecessarily.
If you have old appliances, mattresses, furniture, etc., you can schedule a “bulk pickup” at your residence twice a month. The City of Bronson itself does not pick these items up as some may think. It must be noted that there is a separate fee for those large items being picked up. You can contact the City Office to see how that is charged.
Here is the process for a bulk pickup:
1) If you have large items that need picked up, you must contact the Bronson City Office and schedule a “Bulk Pickup”. They will notify you of the next pick-up date and notify you of items that can be picked up.
2) The night before your pick-up date, move the items out to the curb for pickup. Please do not leave items at the curb until the night before your pickup date. Then on that date, those scheduled items will be picked up. Only the items scheduled for pick up will be picked up. If you add items not scheduled those added items may not be picked up and you will have to schedule another pickup date.
3) Once those items are picked up your property and the neighborhood is improved.
It is Spring Time!!!! Lets get outside!!!!
